Dreams don’t mean much if they belong to someone else’s version of success. This part of the journey is about tuning out the noise, asking yourself the hard questions, and giving yourself permission to want what you want. Because when your goals are truly yours, the pursuit of them becomes far more meaningful.

Learning to Separate Noise from Truth

I grew up immersed in business, watching and helping my dad build what would become the success story of Best Buy. It’s not always easy. People will have opinions. Family, friends, social media—all of them can make you feel like you’re behind, or like you need to measure your success against someone else’s. But real fulfillment doesn’t come from checking someone else’s boxes. It comes from having the courage to decide what matters most to you.

They weren’t about impressing others. They were about building a life that aligned with who I truly was becoming.
